Support Horsfall House

Community is at the heart of everything we do. As a registered charity and not-for-profit nursing home, Horsfall House exists to provide affordable, high-quality care and support for people across Minchinhampton and the surrounding communities.

Fundraising is essential to helping us deliver our charitable aims. Every donation helps us support local people who need our services, regardless of their financial circumstances, while investing in the future sustainability of Horsfall House.

Your support enables us to:

    • Provide funded nursing home beds for people who cannot afford the full cost of care.
    • Offer transport to our Day Centre for those who would otherwise be unable to attend.
    • Help people remain independent in their own homes through our Home Care services.
    • Continually improve our facilities and services for the benefit of residents, service users and the wider community.

The continued success of Horsfall House is made possible by the generosity of local individuals, businesses, community groups and our dedicated volunteer community fundraisers. Together, we    can ensure compassionate care and support remain available for generations to come.

Together, we can keep caring for our community.

There are many ways to support Horsfall House. Whether you join one of our fundraising events, organise your own activity, explore corporate fundraising opportunities, or choose to leave a legacy gift in your Will, your support will make a lasting difference to local people and their families.

Volunteers make a real difference

Our volunteers play a vital role in helping us provide a warm, welcoming and enriching environment for the people we support. Whether you have a few hours to spare each week or can help occasionally at events, your time can make a meaningful difference.

We welcome volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels. There are many ways to get involved, including:

Legacies

If you or a loved one has benefited from the service offered at Horsfall House, or even if you haven’t but feel you want to pass on some of your good fortune, you can leave a legacy in your will to support our vital work.

Leaving a gift in your Will to Horsfall House helps us in our mission of offering our services on a not-for-profit basis. Each year a large proportion of donations received are through kind legacy gifts. We need the help of generous supporters like you to support the frail and elderly in Minchinhampton.

If you are considering leaving a legacy to Horsfall House, thank you. Any gift, large or small, makes a real difference.

Our Community Partners

Our community partners play a vital role in helping Horsfall House continue providing affordable, high-quality care and support for older people across Minchinhampton and the surrounding area.

Support comes in many forms. Some partners raise funds through donations, sponsorships and fundraising activities, while others work alongside us at events, providing volunteers, resources and practical support to help them run smoothly. Every contribution, big or small, helps us strengthen our services and make a greater impact within our community.

Partnering with Horsfall House is more than an opportunity to support a local charity. We can help your organisation strengthen its community impact, enhance corporate social responsibility goals, engage employees through meaningful volunteering opportunities, increase local visibility and demonstrate a commitment to supporting older people in our community.
