Thank you to relatives, residents, clients and trustees who joined us for our recent Engagement Evening at Horsfall House. The event was an opportunity to reflect on the progress made over recent years, share proposals for the future, and hear directly from those who use and support our services.
Chief Executive Officer, Brian Leitch also spoke about our ongoing commitment to delivering the highest standards of care and continually improving the support we provide. Nicky Priest, Nursing Services Director reflected on her journey at Horsfall House since joining in 2019. Nicky highlighted the significant improvements made during that time, including investment in facilities and technology, strengthened governance, and closer collaboration with healthcare and community partners.
Building Plans Consultation
A key focus of the evening was the building development consultation, presented by Duncan Wood, Chair of Trustees. Duncan shared the vision for the future of Horsfall House and outlined proposals designed to improve accessibility, create enhanced social spaces, and increase our Day Centre capacity. Attendees were encouraged to ask questions, share their views and help shape plans at this important stage of the consultation.
