At Horsfall House Home Care, we offer rewarding Home Care Jobs across Minchinhampton, Stroud, Nailsworth and the surrounding areas. We help people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible. We provide person-centred care that is dignified, respectful and compassionate. As every client is different, no two days are the same. Therefore, our carers need to be adaptable, approachable and reliable.
Salary and Hours
Salary: £12.24 – £14.67 per hour.
Enhanced rates are paid for evening, weekend, and bank holiday shifts. Full shifts are paid and mileage between clients is paid at 45p per mile.
Schedule: Full-time and part-time permanent positions available.
Shift Patterns: AM Shift: 7:30am – 1:30pm; PM Shift: 4:00pm – 10:00pm
Location: Minchinhampton, Chalford, Nailsworth, Stroud and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Support clients with personal care and daily living activities in their own homes.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist clients with medication.
Prepare meals and drinks according to individual needs.
Complete shopping for groceries and other essentials when required.
Monitor client wellbeing and report concerns appropriately.
Provide safe, person-centred care tailored to each individual.
Support clients with safe moving and handling when required.
Help ensure clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent.
Follow safeguarding procedures and protect clients from harm.
Candidate Requirements
No previous care experience is required for our Home Care jobs. Instead, we are looking for people with a caring nature and a genuine interest in supporting others. Full training will be provided. However, applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle with business-use insurance.

Horsfall House is an award-winning, not-for-profit nursing home in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire. We operate a 44-bed Nursing Home, a thriving Day Centre, and a trusted Home Care service. We provide home care, dementia care, nursing care, palliative care, respite care, and short breaks.
