Sponsor a Horsfall House Community Champion

Our Charity Champions play a crucial role in raising awareness of Horsfall House and securing the essential funds needed to continue providing care to local residents and clients. Their vital support enables our teams to go the extra mile in caregiving.

On Sunday 8 June, our Community Champions are going an extra 10 miles by participating in our Charity Walk around the local countryside. Read below to find out who they are and if you would like to sponsor them, please click the link next to their name to be directed to their CAF donation page. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Kate Charsley and the Booth family

Kate Charsley, daughter of Dr. Chris Booth the inspiration behind Horsfall House, along with many members of the Booth family, are enthusiastically joining us for this year’s 10-mile Charity Walk.

Kate, a Trustee of Horsfall House, said: “Fundraising is critical in the running of Horsfall House and would not be possible without the support of our volunteer fundraisers who work tirelessly raising money on our behalf. The existence and continuance of Horsfall House, and all it offers, is largely due to the ongoing generosity of the people of Minchinhampton and surrounding Communities who support the home in many ways.” To read more, click here

Nigel Stapleton

Nigel is no stranger to our 10 mile walk having been a Community Champion for many years.

Nigel said: “I am pleased that once again I can support Horsfall House in this wonderful Charity walk. Our Community needs Horsfall whether for Respite Care, day centre care, home visits and much more. In tough economic times we can all help. If you cannot walk the distance – allow me, I will do my best BUT please sponsor me, I am targeting to raise over One Thousand this year. Please give generously to help others and by the way don’t forget the Gift Aid.”
