Our Winter Open Gardens event in Hyde is back again for 2026 on two consecutive Sundays in the hope of catching at least one day of winter sunshine! But even the greyest February day is brightened by a drift of winter flowers and especially the snowdrops that are everywhere in the beautiful and historic Hyde gardens. Hyde End will again be hosting a small Connoisseurs’ Corner of some more exotic and unusual varieties of snowdrops, new to the garden, as well as refreshments in the conservatory.
Why visit?
- Rare and historic varieties – Hyde was once home to The Giant Snowdrop Company (1950s–1960s)
- Stunning open gardens, lovingly tended by local enthusiasts
- Hot drinks and plenty of homemade cake at Hyde End
