We are proud to be able to support so many people in the community through the work of Horsfall House. Through both phone calls and online enquiries, one question crops up every single day, and that is
“Can you help?”
While yes, we can help, the reality is that with an ageing population and dwindling Government support, each day, it is becoming harder and harder to meet the growing needs of the community.
So, this May, we are launching our One Day campaign. We are asking for help from local businesses, professionals, the Minchinhampton community and others connected to Horsfall House, to support us in raising funds for Horsfall House for just One Day.
Horsfall House holds a special place in my heart and I thoroughly enjoy living here. The staff and the team here are constantly seeking out new ways to help make our home more comfortable for people to like me. The ways in which all the staff, not just the carers go above and beyond astound me and I could not think of a better, more caring place to live than here. Horsfall House is truly something special and we need to ensure that it is here for years and years to come. Thank you.

So how much is that?
So how much is that? Well, £10,944, to be precise. That is the cost of delivering our services over the course of One Day, and it is something that we do, without operating for profit, and have been doing for 30 years.
Perhaps you know someone who has benefited from our services? Or do you live locally and see first-hand the work that we do? Could you support us and help us raise funds for just One Day?

If your circumstances allow, would you consider making a regular donation to help us with this important work and help fund us for One Day?
- A gift of £10 a month over the course of a year would help 60 people get to and from the Day Centre.
- A donation of £25 per month would cover the costs for an external entertainer for six months.
- Or £50 a month would go some way towards purchasing a new high-low bed, offering the very best levels of comfort and care for our residents.
