FAREWELL TO THE HORSFALL HOUSE SHOP WITH HEARTFELT THANKS

It is with deep regret that we see the closure of the Horsfall House charity shop on Minchinhampton High Street. We know this is a disappointment to many residents and visitors who supported the shop and its mission, and we want to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who played a part in its journey.

Since opening in 2023, the shop has been more than just a retail space with its warm and welcoming presence in the heart of the town, helping to raise vital funds for Horsfall House’s residential care, day centre and home care for older people. It also served as a visible reminder of the charity’s commitment to the local community.

Duncan Wood, Chair of Trustees at Horsfall House, said:

“We would like to sincerely thank all our volunteers for their time, energy and commitment over the past two years, and prior to that with the shop in West End and the regular pop-up shop. Their support has been invaluable and this project simply wouldn’t have been possible without them. We also extend our thanks to the shop manager, and to the landlords for having given us this opportunity.”

While this chapter has come to a close, the team at Horsfall House is exploring new opportunities to continue raising funds and staying connected with the community.

To everyone who visited, donated, volunteered and cheered us on – thank you for your support.
