DESCRIPTION:Join us this June as our much‑loved Community Walk returns\, 
 welcoming families\, friends\, supporters and dogs to raise vital funds fo
 r Horsfall House.\nWhether you’re a keen walker or simply enjoy good com
 pany and beautiful countryside\, everyone is welcome to take part and enjo
 y the heart of the Cotswolds together.\n\nNew for 2026: the walk will fini
 sh at Horsfall House\, where walkers can collect their certificate of comp
 letion and enjoy refreshments in our Day Centre.\nDog transport is kindly 
 provided by Playschool for Dogs running alongside our minibuses. Join us a
 nd help make a real difference.\n\n\n\nThe Route\nOur 10 mile circular rou
 te starts at Minchinhampton Library and winds through some of the most bea
 utiful countryside in the area and finishes at Horsfall House where walker
 s can collect their certificate of completion. The route includes rare pub
 lic access to Gatcombe Park Wood and Avening Court opened exclusively for 
 our event with the kind permission of their owners\n\nFull route: Minchinh
 ampton → Gatcombe Wood → Avening Court → Avening Social Club → Wei
 ghbridge Inn → Box Woods → Horsfall House. For those who prefer a shor
 ter walking distance\, an alternative five-mile return route is available 
 after Avening Court\, plus our mini bus from Avening Social Club to Horsfa
 ll House. Please wear sturdy footwear!\n\nEvent timings\nPlease check in a
 t Minchinhampton Library to get your event wristband - this must visible f
 or entrance to Avening Court.\n\n 	Check in at the library from 9.30am to 
 12.30pm only. \n 	Last entry to Avening Court: 3.00pm\n 	Shuttle bus will
  run from 10.30 - 3.30pm\n 	Dog fun bus will run from 10.30 - 3.30pm\n 	Al
 l cars parked in the Bell Lane overflow must be removed by 5.00pm.\n\nPark
 ing\nFree parking is available at Bell Lane car park. Please follow Parkin
 g Marshal instructions and park considerately. All car are parked at their
  owners risk. Cars parked in the overflow\, must be removed by 5.00pm.\n\n
 Refreshments &amp\; facilities\nRefreshments (including hot rolls\, drinks
  and cakes) and toilets are available along the route at:\n\n 	Avening Soc
 ial Club: 10.30am - 4.00pm\n 	Horsfall House: 12.00pm - 4.30pm\n 	Vegan an
 d Gluten free options will be available\n 	Public toilets are available ne
 xt to Minch library.\n\nShuttle bus\nOur minibus will operate throughout t
 he day from 10.30 - 3.30pm for anyone who may need assistance between Aven
 ing Social Club and Horsfall House stopping at Bell Lane car park.\n\n 	Fi
 nal shuttle departs 3.30pm from Avening Social Club\n 	Please note that do
 gs are not allowed on the bus.\n\nDOGS WELCOME: extra love for our four le
 gged walkers\nThe wonderful Playschool for Dogs is supporting us and will 
 be bringing along their dog fun buses\, ready to shuttle any tired four le
 gged friends who need a well earned rest. These buses will run alongside o
 ur own minibus\, which will be on hand to transport tired humans too - so 
 everyone can enjoy the day at their own pace!\nPlease note: dogs must be k
 ept on a lead throughout Gatcombe Wood and Avening Court.\n\n\n\nRegister
