DESCRIPTION:Join us this June as our much‑loved Community Walk returns\, 
 welcoming families\, friends\, supporters and dogs to raise vital funds fo
 r Horsfall House.\nWhether you’re a keen walker or simply enjoy good com
 pany and beautiful countryside\, everyone is welcome to take part and enjo
 y the heart of the Cotswolds together.\n\nNew for 2026: the walk will fini
 sh at Horsfall House\, where walkers can collect their certificate of comp
 letion and enjoy refreshments in our Day Centre and Winstone's ice cream v
 an will be onsite.\nDog transport is kindly provided by Playschool for Dog
 s running alongside our minibuses for walkers taking the shorter route. Jo
 in us and help make a real difference.\n\n\n\nThe Route\nOur 10 mile circu
 lar route starts at Minchinhampton Library and winds through some of the m
 ost beautiful countryside in the area and finishes at Horsfall House where
  walkers can collect their certificate of completion. The route includes r
 are public access to Gatcombe Park Wood and Avening Court opened exclusive
 ly for our event with the kind permission of their owners.\n\nFull route: 
 Minchinhampton → Gatcombe Wood → Avening Court → Avening Social Club
  → Weighbridge Inn → Box Woods → Horsfall House. For those who prefe
 r a shorter walking distance\, an alternative five-mile return route is av
 ailable after Avening Court\, plus our mini bus from Avening Social Club t
 o Horsfall House. Please wear sturdy footwear!\n\nDownload the route map\,
  directions and tips for walkers here.\n\nEvent timings\nPlease check in a
 t Minchinhampton Library to get your event wristband - this must visible f
 or entrance to Avening Court.\n\n 	Start time at the library is from 9.30a
 m to 12.30pm only. \n 	Last entry to Avening Court: 3.00pm\n 	Shuttle bus
  will run from 10.30 - 3.30pm\n 	Dog fun bus will run from 10.30 - 3.30pm\
 n 	All cars parked in the Bell Lane overflow must be removed by 5.00pm.\n\
 nParking\nFree parking is available at Bell Lane car park. Please follow P
 arking Marshal instructions and park considerately. All car are parked at 
 their owners risk. Cars parked in the overflow\, must be removed by 5.00pm
 .\n\nRefreshments &amp\; facilities\nRefreshments (including hot rolls\, d
 rinks and cakes) and toilets are available along the route at:\n\n 	Avenin
 g Social Club: 10.30am - 4.00pm\n 	Horsfall House: 12.00pm - 4.30pm\n 	Veg
 an and Gluten free options will be available\n 	Public toilets are availab
 le next to Minchinhampton library\, as well as at Avening Social Club\, Th
 e Weighbridge Inn and Horsfall House.\n\nShuttle bus\nOur minibus will ope
 rate throughout the day from 10.30am - 3.30pm for anyone who may need assi
 stance between Avening Social Club and Horsfall House stopping at Bell Lan
 e car park.\n\n 	Final shuttle departs 3.30pm from Avening Social Club\n 	
 Please note that dogs are not allowed on the minibus.\n\nDOGS WELCOME: ext
 ra love for our four legged walkers\nThe wonderful Playschool for Dogs is 
 supporting us and will be bringing along their dog fun buses\, ready to sh
 uttle any tired four legged friends who need a well earned rest. These bus
 es will run alongside our own minibus\, which will be on hand to transport
  tired humans too - so everyone can enjoy the day at their own pace!\nPlea
 se note: dogs must be kept on a lead throughout Gatcombe Wood and Avening
