Horsfall House is seeking a dedicated part-time Finance Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of financial management within our charity. This pivotal role will support the CEO and Board of Trustees by providing strategic financial guidance, ensuring robust financial controls and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Working closely with the Treasurer, you will play a key role in safeguarding the financial integrity of Horsfall House.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the CEO and Board on financial performance and strategy.
- Prepare and deliver accurate management accounts and maintain comprehensive financial records.
- Lead financial planning, KPI reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage invoicing, bank reconciliations, purchasing processes and the fixed asset register.
- Serve as the main contact for external auditors and oversee Company Secretarial duties.
What we’re looking for:
- CCAB accounting qualification desirable, with experience leading small teams.
- Collaborative and adaptable, able to work effectively across departments.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and commitment to service improvement.
- Experience in the care sector is a plus, but not essential.
- A commitment to the values and charitable aims of Horsfall House.
